Online scientific discussion ““House Arrest, as Alternative to Custodial Sentence in Juvenile Justice” was held.
Within the scope of pilot project “online scientific discussions”, online discussion “House arrest, as alternative to custodial sentence in juvenile justice”, organized by Union of Legal Scientific and international scientific journal “Herald of Law”, was held on November 12, 2020 at 12 a.m. The discussion was second event in a row.
The event was held on platform Zoom.
The speeches were delivered by member of Union of Legal scientific, professor Ketevan Mchedlishvili-Hedrich – (Germany) and Phd student at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, faculty of law – Tamar Makharoblidze. The discussion was held afterward. The meeting was attended by outstanding representatives of the scholarly circles, representatives of universities, Constitutional Court of Georgia and Court of Appeals, Prosecutor’s office of Georgia, governmental as well as non-governmental organizations and counsels.
Additionally, we inform you that another online scholarly discussion will be held within this project on December 4, 2020.
